20 Feb Round Square Youth Conference in Zurich, 2018
Three of our students from Grade 5 and Year 6 along with Miss Anamaria Eli attended the Round Square Youth Conference held in Zurich, Switzerland, between the 1st and the 4th of February 2018.
They were guests of the Inter-Community School Zurich and participated in activities linked to the conference’s topic, Discovery through adventure.
Alice, Maya and Calina enjoyed their time in Zurich by expanding their knowledge and practising challenging skills such as self-awareness, problem-solving and courage.
The trip was all about hands-on activities that enabled students to discover themselves and the world around them through sports activities and engaging actions. They tested the ski slopes, practised curling and went on a treasure hunt, just to mention a few.
The 33 participants came from 10 schools based in the UK, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and Romania.
